Home / About
A neighborhood run by its neighbors, for its neighbors.
Our story
Founded in 2014, the Tidewater Gardens Owners Association was created when the first homeowners took over stewardship of their streets, parks, and shared buildings from the developer. More than 200 households later, that founding idea still guides every decision: the people who live here decide how this place is cared for.
Day to day, the Association maintains twelve shared amenities — from the basketball court to the clubhouse and the community park — keeps the landscaping and lighting in order, enforces the architectural standards owners voted for, and plans the reserves that keep dues stable year after year.
How we work
A three-member Board of Directors, elected each year at the annual meeting, sets policy in monthly open sessions. Tidewater Property Management handles the daily operations: dues billing, work orders, vendor contracts, and the office on weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Open board meetings on the second Tuesday of every month
- Agendas posted seven days ahead; minutes approved and published within thirty
- Annual independent review of the operating budget and reserves
- Equal access and reasonable accommodations for every resident
Transparency first
Budgets, bids, minutes, and votes are published where every owner can find them — no request required.
Steady stewardship
Reserve-funded maintenance keeps the streets, roofs, and amenities sound without surprise assessments.
Neighbor to neighbor
Volunteers plan 25+ gatherings a year, from cleanups to holiday parties — everyone is invited.
